I have been creating art my whole life. Perhaps it started with crayons and paper, but since childhood I have played with watercolors, oil paints, acrylics, fabric, wax, and more recently clay. It was during the renovation of our heritage house that I started painting tile. Influences on my work come from many places; a love of west coast landscape, studies in Japan, France, California and Mexico and an inborn curiosity and delight in the natural world. I value excellent design and enjoy working with my clients to enhance their ideas and preferences. Much of my art acts as a metaphor for life experience.
